When life hands you oranges..........

............. make orange juice, of course!

My father in law brought us this bucket full of oranges on Sunday.

And today I finally got around to juicing them - with a little, tiny bit of help from the kids. They both got bored fairly quickly!

The fruits of our labor produced this:

1 gallon and 48 ounces of juice. Now do you see why orange juice is expensive? One, 5-gallon bucket of oranges only produced a little over 1 gallon of juice. How's that for a little perspective?

Did I mention that my husband works in the citrus industry with my cousin and her husband who own a citrus nursery? Yeah - we want you to drink juice - lots and lots and lots of juice!
