Dakota has decided she wants to try her hand at raising a steer this year for our county fair. Little Bit has been living at our cousin's house and Dakota brought him home to live with us on Sunday. She has until the initial weigh-in in September to decide if she really wants to do this. At that time, if she decides to stick with it, she'll dip into her bank account and make him officially hers.
I guess we're officially back in the swing of things and gearing up for fair time! Yahoo!

i'm from arkansas, so i love the whole livestock raising phenomenon. i think it is the cutest thing ever to see kids at the fair with their animal friends. i've decided i want to get chickens, but we've got to get out of this city first.
