Introductions

Boss Hog came home to live with us Saturday. He is Ladybug's county fair pig for this year. We've never had a Hampshire before, so we'll see how he does. He likes to get in his feed trough, too, except when he gets in his he's using it to try to escape into the other pen with Mister Piggy! So far he hasn't made it over - but it's not because he hasn't given it a good try.

We also got a kitten a few weeks ago. No, it wasn't my idea. Yes, it's cute. No, Annie doesn't like it. No, Otis could care less. The cat's name is Whiskers - and, frankly, we're not sure if it's a boy or a girl. It really is quite hard to tell on kittens. We call her "she" - but we could be very wrong! We got her from Suzette and Torri.
She stayed a few days on the porch because we were afraid she would run off or a hawk would grab her. Oh - or Annie would try to eat her. Annie can not stand the cat! No, really, I mean Annie does NOT like the cat. She's worrying herself sick over the thing.
This weekend, though, Whiskers moved into her new home in the feed shed. She seems to like it and she is hanging around. She's really growing, too. The picture above was taken the day after we brought her home a couple of weeks ago and she's already grown!
I don't think anyone or anything else has moved in here recently that I need to let you know about. So for now that brings our farm count to 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 pigs, 2 goats. We're filling up around here.
